Accredited by MÜDEK, the Engineering Education Programs Evaluation and Accreditation Association, which is the only institution authorized to give accreditation in the field of engineering programs in Turkey, IKU Faculty of Engineering was awarded with the European Accreditation of Engineering Programs (EUR-ACE) label.

MÜDEK accreditation refers to the compliance of the education programs of Istanbul Kultur University with national quality qualification standards and quality assurance. For the graduates of the accredited program, in addition to the right to receive the "EUR-ACE Label" of the European Engineering Education Accreditation Network, equivalence will be provided for all member countries of the Washington Accord (America, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Japan and other member European countries).

Benefits of MÜDEK accreditation/EUR-ACE® label for engineering students and graduates,

• Ensuring that the program with the EUR-ACE® label meets high European and international standards and is recognized by employers in Europe,
• Facilitating the application to master's and doctoral programs with EUR-ACE® label offered in other higher education institutions,
• In countries where the engineering profession is regulated, EUR-ACE® labeled programs meet the mandatory educational requirements to become a registered or chartered engineer,
• In line with the EU Directive on the Recognition of Professional Qualifications, the EUR-ACE® label facilitates postgraduate mobility,
• The fact that the EUR-ACE® label is accepted by FEANI (National European Federation of Engineering Associations) as a training standard for obtaining a 'Professional Card',
• It can be listed as the fact that FEANI automatically includes the programs with the EUR-ACE® label in the guide listing the educational requirements for the Eur Eng title.

Computer Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Civil Engineering departments of Istanbul Kultur University Engineering Faculty passed this evaluation for the first time in 2014 and were entitled to receive MÜDEK accreditation and EUR-ACE Label. The accreditation information of our faculty's programs is given in Table 1.
