T.R. Istanbul Kültür University Faculty of Engineering and Architecture was established in 1997 to train engineers and architects equipped with the knowledge and experience to meet the requirements in the fields of design, production and management, using modern technologies, able to work in the international business world, having a philosophy of professional ethics, teamwork skills and an entrepreneurial spirit. T.R. Istanbul Kültür University continued its education, training and research activities as Istanbul Kültür University Faculty of Engineering and Architecture until the end of the 2010-2011 academic year. With the decision numbered 2011/2105 published in the Legal Gazette dated 23 August 2011 and numbered 28034, Istanbul Kültür University Faculty of Architecture was established and the name of our faculty was changed to T.R. Istanbul Kültür University Engineering Faculty.

Association for Evaluation and Accreaditation of Engineering Programs (MÜDEK) evaluates the lesson plans, academic staff, research activities, teaching processes and physical infrastructures of various engineering education programs in our country for accreditation purposes. T.R. Istanbul Kültür University Faculty of Engineering; Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Civil Engineering departments passed this evaluation in 2014 and were awarded the MÜDEK accreditation and EUR-ACE Label. The accreditation information of our faculty's programs is given in Table 3.
