Our Faculty of Engineering academician Prof. Dr. Nihal Sarıer (IKU) and Prof. Dr. Emel Önder Karaoğlu (ITU, Faculty of Textile Technologies and Design)'s second international patent titled "WEBS WITH COAXIAL NANOFIBER STRUCTURE, A TEXTILE PRODUCT CONTAINING THESE WEBS AND A PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF (KOAKSİYEL NANOLİF YAPILI AĞLAR, BU AĞLARI İÇEREN BİR TEKSTİL ÜRÜNÜ VE HAZIRLANMA YÖNTEMİ)” was registered by the UK Patent Office on 15.05.2024 with the number GB2597373.

In the "Faculty of Engineering Day" event held on Tuesday, 9 May with the participation of our Chairperson of the Board of Trustees Dr. Bahar Akıngüç Günver and Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Fadime Üney Yüksektepe, certificates of achievement were presented to our students who represented our university in various fields.
